A little bit of flooding

Last night the washes flooded, but our yard was spared. This evening we were not so lucky. This is a picture of the horses’ corral. There was a fence there where the water is rushing down into the corral in the background. This fence went down in two places, here and in the front yard. Won’t know how much clean up and repair is needed until tomorrow when it is light and the water has receded. Luckily, our house sits up high and was never in danger. But, man, we sort of needed this fence. Keeps our horses out of the neighbor’s yard.
Ah, the joys of living in the desert.

Myers-Briggs with a Harry Potter twist

I’m not a big fan of the Myers-Briggs tests (maybe because every time I take one I have different results), but this was fun.

Genealogy Pages

I’ve redone my genealogy pages again, both the Conrad-Todd-Garrison-Carman (CTGC) and Mueller-Moisan-Redewill-Harris (MMRH) sites. I’m fairly happy with the results and hopefully this will be the last major change for awhile. They have static pages, which is sort of old school, but maybe the search engines will pick them up now.

I don’t have the sources listed on these pages yet. I moved my genealogy from PAF to TMG, and somehow (probably user error), the sources got messed up and the citations and bibliography don’t display correctly. I am in the process of fixing them and then I can move on to adding the stuff in my filing box. ;-) It will be some time before the sources will show up on my genealogy pages. (a limited number of sources for CTGC are available here ) In the meantime, there is an email link at the bottom of each genealogy page. Please use it to contact me if you want to know where I got my information. Some things have better documentation than others, so please don’t assume anything.
