Grand Canyon of Arizona by E.R. Redewill

People are doing great things on the internet. Warren Trachtman is making available midi files of old piano rolls that he has scanned and converted.
The exciting thing is one of them popped up in one of my search engine alerts this morning: Grand Canyon of Arizona composed by Eugene R. Redewill.
You can listen to the midi file.
You will find more information about the roll on this list of rolls.
Thank you, Mr. Trachtman.

Please note that Warren Trachtman owns the performance rights for these files, and is making them available for personal, NON-COMMERCIAL distribution and enjoyment only. See his Copyright Information page for more information.

Welcome

Welcome to the blog for the Mueller-Moisan-Redewill-Harris genealogy. This will be the place to find information on new additions to that genealogy, as well as other interesting Mueller-Redewill items I may come across.
This is not my family, but a friend’s. I have a lot of fun researching this family though, because 1) it is firmly rooted in the western United States and mine was boring and stayed within 100 miles of where they landed on the east coast  and 2) how exciting to have such a unique name as Redewill to search!
I am convinced that all Redewills in the U.S. are related and can be traced to Peter and Francesca Redewill. My guess is that Redewill is an americanized version of Redeuil. One of their grandson’s birth announcements said Redeuill
Of course, from that same page are these spellings for this family: Redewell, Redewill and Redenill (a typo?).
Like I said, I am fascinated by this family and I hope to update this blog on a regular basis.
