Blog Transition complete

I now only have one blog, as opposed to 3, and the category links are working. Yay!

Hopefully, I will be more inclined to update my genealogy news, but sometimes I get so involved in the research I forget, and it’s only the really big discoveries where I think, gee, that’d be a good thing to blog about. A natural-born blogger I am not.

Grand Canyon of Arizona by E.R. Redewill

People are doing great things on the internet. Warren Trachtman is making available midi files of old piano rolls that he has scanned and converted.
The exciting thing is one of them popped up in one of my search engine alerts this morning: Grand Canyon of Arizona composed by Eugene R. Redewill.
You can listen to the midi file.
You will find more information about the roll on this list of rolls.
Thank you, Mr. Trachtman.

Please note that Warren Trachtman owns the performance rights for these files, and is making them available for personal, NON-COMMERCIAL distribution and enjoyment only. See his Copyright Information page for more information.

Database Back Up

I’ve gotten things working in the Mueller-Redewill Genealogy site again. If you see any error messages, let me know.
Things aren’t exactly the way they were before, but it’ll do for now.
